1) pdf renderer working (a new visualization mode)

3) the Aim: Web Service reached pre-alpha state

4) Bug "line breaks yield paragraphs" is caused by import policy. For authors and editors within the description panel it's quite a feature. See Decisions

• document custom implementation efforts on twitter (form a hackers getting started)

• discuss and extract user's experience
• demonstration of existing content management features (example application "dm-web"). Aimed to DeepaMehta@TU team. Jörg.
• short type builder tutorial: how to use relations? Aimed to Torstens use-case as discussed in the mailing list. Jörg.

1) a spontanious visit of the co-founder from DeepaMehta guided us (via a short update for him what happened in the last months within the community) directly to a discussion to where everything started and deepamehta came from

2) heading to user experience user's conclusions:

• the model is getting bigger and bigger
• the hierarchy of the derivations is not used within the container topics (search for a person does not include user, for example)

=> how to use a "Relation" Assocation => how to simulate n-ary topic associations

exchanging modelling experiences, e.g. enter a "Association Type ID" into "Relation" properties between two topic types to enable typed association e.g. an assignment between a "Meridian" and "Accupuncture Point" directly via the assign command in the context menu of the resp. topic type.

• 15 Min. DeepaMehta Projektlabor (Konzeptvorstellung/-diskussion)
• 15 Min. Vorstellung und Diskussion über bereits vorhandene screencasts
• 1 Std. Usage Workshop

What happened:

• Wir haben Malte erklärt was das Projektlabor ist (Grundpraktikum / Experimentieren in Gruppen / Mit selbstbestimmten Themen).
• Wir haben den Physik-Studis erklärt was DeepaMehta für das Projektlabor leisten kann (Zurückhaltende Begeisterung machte sich breit).
• Wir haben Studis angeregt Content zu erstellen und das Interface weiterzudenken!

• we had some interesting discussions about how to use deepamehta for praktikal reasons and issues we have to deal with about the dm@tub-server
• security issues had been discussed
• at the end we had a small workshop in and around deepamehta...some great response and new ideas came into the talk, have a look at the LatexTopic Wishlist for the Projektlabor
• the LatexTopic0.2 has been set up on the tu server and deepamehta has been patched.
• the messageboard is configured and decided to put the documents resp. icons repository in a webservers context path, for browsing and working with the generated text icons. It is supposed to be linked at www.tu-deepamehta.de when it is done.

Still to do:

• some mod_jk config for webserved repositories and the messageboard
• a documentation about how to build and run a deepamehta-server in public networks

TU User Preparation Meeting, 09.10 at turm11.org

Some Ideas for the evening...

• TU LaTeX Add-on Installation, plus start an Add-on Page in this wiki for the LaTexTopic and document the installation, usage, bugs and feature request [installation is done]
  • server adminstration is documented with images, icons and rights one servers file system,
  • file handling analyzed with mac and ubuntu, drag&drop and the create way logged (with client and applet scenario, content to be delivered)
• Replace and Update the Starting Points-Page in this Wiki (Buttons and Text, yet to update)
  • with div, only window.open command works yet, (some kind of javascript.gotourl(); would be better)
• Produce at least one Single Chicken Level Screencast/Tutorial
