I removed the links to "Mehta" and "Mehta2" because the benefit of these pages is not clear to the reader. What is the purpose of having a copy of the website contents in the Wiki?
In my opinion every page on this Wiki should
- provide useful information
- clearify its context
- have a meaningful page title
Yeah, yeah, so far the words from a control type.

Sorry that I linked them in. Also, my page title "Deeper thoughts, meta thoughts" is problably not meaningful enough, so don't hesitate to change it.

x28de 15-May-2008 00:05 CEST Two questions:
- are there any international contributors of this wiki that require that the comments need to be in English?
- with the next release, we thought about writing to now nearly 600 demo account keepers and they are mostly english speakers, it would be nice if they could track our efforts, but German sentences could also fasten up our collaboration, i think sometimes it is Ok and we are still a small core of contributors, so feel free to speak German Malte
- are all the Comment pages automatically excluded from search robots, as I hope?
- as far as i see, no. i just searched through the jamwiki wiki, i guess the developers didn`t thought about that, yet. does a normal media wiki deliver this, i will have a deeper look again and keep this in mind. Malte
sooooo: the access rights are correct again, anonynmous users can view and do more than just see the login page. for the next time: just clear the cache, then it works again, really magic Malte 19-May-2008 17:23 CEST
i just found the deepamehta glossary, this is definetely a good resource for contributors.
intentions to re-organize the first page
in my opinion this page should deliver
- guidance to the different information sites here in this wiki and clear visual distinction between those different information sites
- an up-to date view, if something changes and is contributed. feel free to link new contributions in here in following categories
my suggestions for a better overview in here is, to divide the first page into chapters like
- Learn More (e.g. User Guide, How To's and hopefully Tutorials)
- Get Involved (e.g. Connect yourself with the DeepaMehta Friends, Help in here)
- What's new (in the sources, in the docs)
- About this wiki (wikiquette)
- I thought in the same terms about the strukture. I think the goal should be to 4 to 5 meta-issues an connect them aktuall topic of the wiki. The best way in my opinion to come up for the wiki is a latent suggestion for participating. Like the "get involved"-topic..."get involved" in the FAQ or Diskuss the new UserGuide chapter...
- I really like the chapters...let's make a short sub-menu next to the chapters. I think the chapter should also be the only links on the left menu. Maybe the Contributors and Friends-list also.
- I've set up a testpage vor strukturing the new startpage. PLS visit and diskuss StartingPage-MOD; - Maddin 19-Sep-2008 11:26 GMT
